摘要: We used tomato genotypes deficient in the jasmonic acid (JA) pathway to study interaction between production of herbivore-induced plant volatiles (HIPVs) that serve as information cues for herbivores well natural enemies herbivores, and foliar trichomes defence barriers. found acid-insensitive1 (jai1) mutant plants with both reduced HIPVs trichome received higher oviposition adult leafminers, which were more likely be parasitized by leafminer parasitoids than JA biosynthesis spr2 but not trichomes. also showed preference acceptance leafminers trichome-removed from either or wild-type (WT) over trichome-intact can ascribed on treated plants, altered direct indirect traits such JA, proteinase inhibitor (PI)-II levels. Although WT attractive insects, insects preferred trichome-free jai1 had greater reproductive success these plants. Our results provide strong evidence antagonism HIPV emission affects tritrophic interactions. The interactions among are discussed.
