摘要: Small mammals present in areas where hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPS) cases had occurred central and southern Chile were captured analyzed to evaluate the abundance of rodents seroprevalence rates antibodies Andes orthohantavirus (ANDV). Sampling ranged from Coquimbo Aysen regions (30–45° S approx.) regions. Ninety-two sites peridomestic countryside evaluated 19 years sampling. An antibody against ANDV was detected by strip immunoassay 58 1847 specimens using Sherman traps. Of eleven species sampled, Abrothrix olivacea, Oligoryzomys longicaudatus hirta most frequently trapped. O. highest seropositivity rate, logistic regression analysis, at least 60 g 80% or higher probability be seropositive. Sex, age wounds significantly related only for longicaudatus. Across administrative regions, found El Maule region (34.8–36.2° S), number HCPS registered region. Our results highlight importance long term geographically extended studies, particularly highly fluctuating pathogens their reservoirs, understand implications dynamics transmission zoonotic diseases human populations.
