摘要: Pipe strings, as critical components in oil and gas industry, are highly susceptible to axial cracks for stress corrosion fatigue damage. The conventional detection methods, such magnetic flux leakage particle inspection, inadequate accurately detecting a narrow crack. Alternating current field measurement (ACFM) technique is an electromagnetic inspection method capable of both sizing surface breaking metal specimens. This paper presents novel feed-through ACFM probe used pipe string. Both simulations experiments conducted analyze the disturbance above extract features recognition. relationship between set up quantitatively cracks. results show that could make quantitative evaluation on
