Transport entropy of vortices near Hc2

摘要: Abstract Data on the transport entropy, Sd, of vortices in three type-II superconducting alloys (In60Pb40, Nb85Mo15, and Nb80Mo20) are compared with theoretical predictions Maki. Maki's theory correctly predicts that Sd approaches zero at T = 0 Tc goes to linearly B Hc2. The predicted magnitudes within a factor 2 experiment (and sometimes closer). This is reasonable agreement considering uncertainty choosing appropriate value κ2(t) possible errors data points. Maki also points out difference between thermal conductivity mixed state normal state, Km − Kn expressed terms same functions as so ratio (K m K n ) c S d should be universal function t. appears true for NbMo but possibly not In60Pb40 alloy.
