摘要: In this paper, a novel technique for electronic beam steering in time modulated linear array (TMLA) is proposed. The realized at the flrst sideband by controlling switch-on sequences of each element TMLA without using phase shifters. difierential evolution (DE) algorithm employed to improve gain and suppress sidelobe levels (SLLs) both center frequency sideband, simultaneously. An S-band 8-element double-layered printed dipole was used verify experimentally. Measured results are compared with numerical data, good agreement reported. Moreover, some simulation on binary shift keying (BPSK) signals arriving from difierent directions received proposed approach presented, which validates application technique.
