International adoption: A case review of Korean children

摘要: In contrast to the controversial transracial adoption of African American children by Caucasian families in U.S., international, Asian has not received much scientific or societal attention. There been a steady increase this unnoticed minority group, made up largely Korean children. This paper reviews developmental characteristics post-adoption adjustments among adoptees and discusses dynamics their positive adjustments. Sociopolitical issues international adoptions are also addressed.
