摘要: This paper investigates a new polarimetric device that produces reduced scale measurements for bistatic radar. The optical is proposed to overcome the lack of real and full radar acquisitions forest trunks. It based on invariant rule deduced from Maxwell equations. From this principle, electromagnetic (EM) response kept at if illumination wavelength scaled permittivity remains same. last condition needs use carefully chosen material scale. Nanoscale scenes are composed carbon nanotubes (CNTs). They present several advantages: their arrangement similar structure trunks, shape, density can be controlled, it possible create very large thousands elements, finally about same order magnitude than tree trunks wavelength. measured under view microscope objective with 633-nm laser playing role EM source. images once response, given transmitter location, entire set angular positions reception. Two samples forests different densities measured. analyzed using Cloude Pottier decomposition Lu Chipman decomposition. produced results unprecedented forest-like environment would helpful community.
