摘要: Objective(s) The aim of this study was to investigate the presence PER-1-type ESBLs in drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates. Materials and Methods During one-year period (2008-2009), following isolation identification 56 P. aeruginosa, E-test method performed for determination minimal inhibitory concentration ceftazidim. isolates that they had MIC≥16 µg/ml against ceftazidim were used ESBL-producing by combined disk test (CDT) double synergy (DDST) methods. Bla PER-1 gene investigated PCR. KOAS as positive control. Results Twenty-nine (51.78%) out fifty six ceftazidime, twenty two (75.86%) them ESBL producers. Some (27.5%) contained bla gene. Conclusion producing P.aeruginosa has not been reported previously Tabriz but there a rather high prevalence it.
