摘要: Abstract Purpose: The authors performed a cadaveric study on 10 ankles and retrospectively reviewed 29 arthroscopic synovectomies to determine the trajectory, minimal safe distances, complications using new approach for posterior ankle arthroscopy. Type of Study: Anatomic case series. Materials Methods: A posterolateral portal was established immediately peroneal tendon sheath. While staying within capsule, an inside-out technique then used establish posteromedial directly behind medial malleolus adjacent tibial tendon. were frozen, sectioned, photographed measure proximity neurovascular structures these coaxial portals. From 1988 1994, synovectomy 23 patients (29 ankles) with hemophilia modified Results: Results anatomic showed that nerve artery located mean distance 5.7 mm (SEM, 0.6 mm) 6.4 0.7 from edge cannula, respectively. Neither penetration nor contact or vessel observed at either portal. In clinical cases, capsular achieved arthroscopically no detectable average 45-month follow-up. Conclusions: Our data show portals described here are essentially equidistant compared conventional results suggest his is safe, effective, reproducible.
