摘要: Soil pipes are considered to drain off water from a hillslope and play an important role in the subsurface runoff generation process, thus reducing slope failure susceptibility. However, soil also often detected on collapsed suggesting that they might act induce instability. To examine how pore-water pressure processes, numerical model was developed. The used test response of with different cross-sectional areas, lengths, distances impermeable bed, roughness, angles. tested find open pipe if blocked. study reveals reduce (measured closed bed) around its upstream end increase downstream compared no case. Pore-water at is increased angle, area, length, or depth pipe. pipe, even it ended within hillslope, increases total discharge hillslope. Location rough affects If less close source water, matrix greater regardless roughness. Blockage small portion region but not beyond case there complete collapse point all along were pipes. Therefore, position type shallow landslide initiation.
