摘要: Diamond-coated thermocouples were prepared with the aim of measuring temperature at interface between a grinding wheel and workpiece material. Thermocouples K-type, R-type G-type alloy combinations prepared. Continuous diamond films grown on each type thermocouple using hot filament chemical vapour deposition techniques. The resulting characterised Raman spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy. Diamond was found to be particularly successful, in terms quality adhesion, thermocouple. thermocouples, varying thickness, then respect their thermoelectric voltage response. Such measurements performed under static conditions, where joint had been allowed reach thermal equilibrium its environment, dynamic pulse heat applied various intensities frequencies. © 1999 Published by Elsevier Science S.A.
