摘要: Abstract Purpose To examine whether rest intervals of different durations (“High Rest, Low Frequency” v. “Low High Frequency”), and load at force exertion levels with repetition frequencies Load, Repetition” Repetition”) have an impact on muscle micro-trauma, as such micro-trauma over repetitive loading long-term overuse can lead to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Method Twenty-four adult males (mean age: 24.1 years; 3.6 SD) were randomly assigned one 4 bicep eccentric exercise treatment groups (n = 6; “High Repetition; Frequency”, or Frequency”) non-dominant arm induce reactions in serum. Subjects all had equivalent total work volume, duration for comparison between within the groups. Muscle biomarker serum Creatine Kinase (CK) level was measured pre-exercise (Day 0) post-exercise Days 1, 2, 4, 8. ANOVA repeated measures used significance load-repetition combination pre post experiment days, well possible interactions. Result CK fluctuated significantly across “Day” (P = 0.0115). Interaction disordinal significant “Rest” (P = 0.0000), “Load” (P = 0.0322). Under condition, Day higher than 0 2; 8 0. peaked 4. Rest” Condition, are Conclusion Shorter but more frequent led extreme micro-traumatic responses longer less ones, especially under condition when brachii subscribed regimen. Relevance industry The exploration how scheduling affects progression microtrauma from a biomechanical molecular this study furthers current understanding early stage development WMSDs. With future studies’ further research confirmation, findings may be able serve first attempt guide shift job design manufacturing facilities.
