摘要: The Ca II infrared triplet is one of the few magnetically sensitive chromospheric lines available for ground-based observations. We present spectropolarimetric observations 8498 and 8542 A in a quiet Sun region near decaying active compare results with simulation high plasma-β regime. Cluster analysis Stokes V profile pairs shows that two lines, despite arguably being formed fairly close, often do not have similar shapes. In network, local magnetic topology more important determining shapes profiles than phase wave, contrary to what our simulations show. also find asymmetries are very common histograms observed amplitude area differ significantly from simulation. Both network internetwork show oscillatory behavior lines. It stronger where shocking waves, those high-β simulation, seen large self-reversals intensity common.
