摘要: The Hippo pathway is a central regulator of organ size and key tumor suppressor via coordinating cell proliferation death. Initially discovered in Drosophila, the has been implicated as an evolutionarily conserved mammals; however, how this was evolved to be functional from its origin still largely unknown. In study, we traced premetazoan species, characterized intrinsic functions ancestor components, unveiled evolutionary history signaling unicellular origin. addition, elucidated paralogous gene for mammalian components their cancer-derived somatic mutations perspective. Taken together, our findings not only function but also provided novel insights into organization oncogenic alteration.
