摘要: This study evaluates the use of geoelectric self-potential (SP) method on a typically thick lateritic cover in tropical rain forest Nsimi watershed South Cameroon. In this respect, we have deployed SP and Wenner resistivity profiling along 10 tracks, which has enabled us to produce an map profile watershed. Because application is not ideal, interpretation our profiles based correlations between SP, elevation, electrical well-constrained granulometric parameters The absence correlation suggests that these natural potentials would be result simple circulating current by Ohm's law through medium, but associated with electromotive forces, either electrokinetic or electrochemical potential. positive observed elevation enables discard origin for propose one instead. confirmed clear linear percentage clay material covers. further define loose clay-rich horizons laterites.
