Some Aspects of the Preparation of Amorphous Materials using Non-equilibrium Techniques

摘要: The preparation methods of amorphous and nanocrystalline materials using non-equilibrium techniques is described. In particular two are considered: rapid cooling (melt spinning in-rotating liquid spinning) mechanical grinding. Some results magneto-structural characterizations intermetallic alloys rare earth based such as Sm-Fe-Ti (ThMn12-type) Dy-Fe-(B, C) system (2:14:1 phase), Fe-Si(B) (Fe75.3CuNb3Si22.5−x B x with = 6, 9), hexagonal ferrites (BaFe12O19 M-type) have been reported.
