摘要: A systematic study of the relationship between empirically-derived diagnoses and symptom patterns is reported in a sample 160 preadolescents adolescents consecutively admitted to psychiatric inpatient setting. Results show that DSM-III generated using child version Diagnostic Interview Schedule for Children (DISC-C) were significantly associated with several factor analytically-derived scales Achenbach Edelbrock Youth Self-Report. The results included finding significant associations conduct disorders delinquency scale, affective depressed both anxiety broad-band internalizing scales. This suggests implications about diagnostic categorizations construct validity as well clinical evaluation.
