摘要: USY samples with different silicon-to-aluminium ratios were treated with ammonium hexafluorosilicate solution to remove extra-framework aluminium (EFAL). An IR spectroscopic study showed that all the bands related to EFAL disappear and the intensity of the bands corresponding to framework hydroxyls strongly increases, showing that an important part of the charge deficiency is compensated for by cationic species of aluminium.
