摘要: A European consortium has progressed towards elementary and assembled conductors viable for AC applications in the project ACropolis. The main goal was to achieve low losses high critical current densities tapes developed coils, transformers cables. In order verify performance of an extensive characterization programme carried out. dependence on parameters tape manufacturing process were scrutinized. Furthermore, SEM-EDX DTA/TG analyses performed study material microstructure, diffusion coefficient oxygen through different matrix metals measured. homogeneity verified with magnetic knife Hall sensor experiments. Transport measurements at mechanical stress conditions also distribution along long determined a quasi-continuous four-point measurement. results confirmed that loss can be produced industrial scale they are competitive power engineering applications.
