Conflictos intergeneracionales en abuelas cuidadoras de una clínica de medicina familiar de la Ciudad de México

摘要: Objective: to analyze the characteristics of intergenerational conflicts with grandmothers who take care their grandchildren. Methods: qualitative, cross-sectional and interpretative study. The semi-structured in-depth interview technique was used in four families. Four daughters grandkids between 0 12 years age were included. An guide for analysis information elaborated. recordings transcribed, texts categorized results coordinated by dimensions. Results: regard authority, three families both parents took decisions children one family grandmother had complete authority. Two flexible limits; role a housewife. other two fulfilled providers presented conflict grandmothers, strict limits vague limits. Conclusions: it confirmed that support as child offered grandchildren can generate different risks families, is required implement limits, roles, hierarchy and/or because carries great responsibilities decisionmaking process basic functions.
