摘要: Abstract The acidic character of 5A zeolite as a function the calcium content has been explored by different techniques: propylene adsorption experiments, ammonia thermodesorption followed microgravimetry and FTIR spectroscopy. Propylene is chemisorbed slowly transformed in carbonaceous compounds (coke) which remain trapped inside pores. coke quantities increase with Ca 2+ content. Olefin transformation results from an oligomerization catalytic process involving sites. Ammonia studies well experiments have revealed presence sites able to protonate NH3 molecules. This site number also correlated ion As it observed for FAU exchanged di- or trivalent metal cations, these are probably CaOH + species whose v (OH) mode spectral signature around 3567 cm −1 .
