摘要: The objective of this study was to identify the receptor OJ367, an oyster juice-borne bacteriophage, in Salmonella derby ATCC 6960. crude outer membrane (OM) fraction prepared and examined from total cell envelope (TCE) by differential extraction with N-(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine-N'-2-ethanesulfonic acid (HEPES)-MgCl2 then Triton-HEPES-ethylenediamine tetra-acetic buffers. OM proteins (Omps) were isolated diethylaminoethyl column chromatography screen for activity. A 45-kDa protein belonging a minor Omp species, phage neutralization ability, eluted homogeneous form. It non-peptidoglycan-associated which digestible trypsin. Lipopolysaccharide had no influence on its activity when coexistent fractions. An S. mutant resistant lysis OJ367 isolated. not only showed decreased vitro TCE tested but altered profile. This implied that is involved as coliphage binding; however, role affected expression other Omps.
