摘要: Among the various wave-based simulation methods, finite difference time domain (FDTD) method provides a good trade-off between applicability, accuracy and computational efficiency. With growing availability of computing power recent advances in parallel architectures, FDTD has become feasible choice for room acoustics simulation. Operating discrete domain, it is advantageous obtaining wideband solutions within single simulation, also able to tackle problems involving transient behavior variability, example with moving sources, receivers medium. This paper portrays WaveCloud Project, an open-source modeling framework designed mind. Practical concerns such as computation time, handling arbitrary geometries, directional sources are addressed their current implementations discussed. Consideration given three-dimensional sound field visualization well auralization strategies. Future work remaining challenges, which now form part collaborative open source Wave Cloud project, described.
