摘要: The development of novel strategies to prevent HIV-1 infection is outstanding relevance. Metal complexes Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+ and Zn2+ derived from sulfonated carboxylated poly(propylene imine) dendrimers with ethylenediamine core were evaluated as tunable antiviral agents against HIV-1. After demonstrating their biocompatibility, specific trends in the properties found, related both dendritic scaffold (peripheral group, generation) bound metal ions (sort, amount). In HEC-1A VK-2 cell lines, model first barrier infection, a high preventive inhibitory action was which also avoided virus internalization inside cells inhibited CCR5 CXCR4 strains. peripheral blood mononuclear (PBMC), second barrier, dual therapeutic behavior observed. A rational design such metallodendrimers opens new avenues for production versatile efficient treatments infection.
