摘要: The objective of this work was to investigate the distribution prostate cancer using three-dimensional (3-D) computer simulation. Two hundred and eighty-one 3-D models were constructed from radical prostatectomy specimens. An algorithm developed which divided each model into 24 symmetrical regions, it then detected presence tumor within an individual region. rate assessed region all 281 models, difference between rates statistically analyzed Mantel-Haenszel methodology. There a significant higher in posterior half (57.2%) compared anterior ( 40.5%; P=0.001). base regions (36.8%) had lower than either mid (56.3%; P=0.001) or apical (53.5%; did have (P=0.032). no on left (48.5%) that right (49.2%; P=0.494). spatial can be models. results illustrate is least commonly located prostate. Through analysis cancer, we believe new optimal biopsy strategies techniques developed.
