摘要: Unilateral absence of pulmonary artery (UAPA) is a rare congenital disease circulation, which often accompanied by other cardiovascular anomalies. Infrequently, it may remain undiagnosed until adulthood. More rarely, to be found with lung cancer in the ipsilateral or contralateral simultaneously. A 56-year-old man complaints intermittent left chest pain for 2 months was referred our hospital. Chest computed tomography(CT) revealed cavitary lesion measuring 5.5 cm × 5.7 cm superior segment lower lobe. Absence and right-sided aortic arch were on tomography angiography (CTA). The tumor successfully removed via pneumonectomy, postoperative histopathology showed that squamous cell carcinoma (T2bN1). At 24-month follow-up, patient free no evidence recurrence metastasis. Based literature review, this ninth case UAPA patients. Lung occurred ipsilaterally 66.7% these cases (6/9), including present case. For those patients who contralaterally, surgical treatment more challenging. CT CTA could provide an accurate diagnosis entity. Identification recognition special entity facilitate timely appropriate treatment.
