摘要: Onboard refueling vapor recovery canister for a gasoline-powered vehicle including an unequally-divided carbon bed, vent solenoid, and high-capacity, self-cleaning filter. Integral configuration of the reduces its size also increases allowable volume over prior art canisters, permitting use lower grade at significant cost savings while meeting all working capacity requirements. The filter box has air inlet port contains high-efficiency wrapped around feature enclosing solenoid opening closing flow through canister. Wrapping available surface area by more than 50% that flat Outward during partially backflushes filter, thereby extending useful life media. absorber is divided into two sequential beds unequal length but equal cross-sectional area, which improves diurnal efficiency performance relative to known canisters.
