摘要: Abstract Cadmium (Cd) contamination in paddy soils poses food security risks and public health concerns. Exploring effective strategies to reduce rice grain Cd is an urgent need. In this study, field plot experiments were conducted evaluate the effects of wollastonite application with or without phosphate (P) addition on accumulation (Oryza sativa L.). Co-application P showed greater efficiency than amendments alone raising soil pH CEC decreasing availability. concentration brown was decreased by 71% under treatment alone, but only 29–39% when coupled different amendments. This seeming contradiction could be ascribed dramatic decline phytoavailability manganese (Mn) increase molar ratio iron (Fe) Mn (Fe/Mn) Fe plaques root surfaces presence additions. Significant negative correlations between plants positive Fe/Mn plaque indicated that P-induced deficiency reduced impeded alleviation rice. Application Si-deficient reducing while boosting yield, co-application counterproductive should avoided. work emphasized a better understanding relationships related mineral nutrient uptake would helpful developing more efficient measures Cd.
