摘要: Patients involved on coeliac disease (CD) have atypical symptoms and often remain undiagnosed. Specific oral manifestations are effective risk indicators of CD for this reason an early diagnosis with a consequent better prognosis can be performed by the dentist. There not researches analysing frequency these in potential patients. The aim study is to investigate hard soft tissue lesions ascertained children comparison healthy controls. 50 children, 21 patients, 54 controls were recruited examination was performed. overall more frequently present patients than prevalence 62% coeliac, 76.2% 12.96% (P < 0.05). Clinical dental delayed eruption observed 38% 42.5% versus 11.11% specific enamel defects (SED) 48% 19% 0% 0.05; OR = 3.923). SED seem genetically related histological damage villous atrophy.
