A rapid and efficient method to prepare exfoliated graphite by microwave irradiation

摘要: Abstract Exfoliated graphite materials had been rapidly and efficiently prepared by microwave irradiation in a short time (about 4 min including 3 min mixing 1 min irradiation). The promotion of the intercalation was proven X-ray diffraction. With increasing content oxidant agent, expanded volume exfoliated increased at first then decreased. When weight ratio natural nitric acid to potassium permanganate set 1:2:1, reached maximum value (312 mL/g) sorption capacity this 56 g engine oil 32 g kerosene per 1 g graphite.
