摘要: Molluscum contagiosum (MC) is an increasingly common cutaneous viral infection that primarily affects the pediatric population. MC lesions are benign, and most cases resolve within 6-9 months. Nonetheless, many patients their parents seek active treatment of because local pain, pruritus, embarrassment due to lesions, or desire reduce transmission siblings. Individuals with atopic dermatitis predisposed severe protracted MC, immunocompromised may never clear without treatment. Despite availability various therapies, no best for has emerged. Cantharidin a commonly used effective therapy generally well tolerated high rates parental satisfaction. In this review, current literature regarding summarized particular focus placed on use cantharidin treating including review detailed instructions its use.
