Electron Spin Resonance of Mn2+ in Lead Titanate

摘要: The electron spin resonance (ESR) study has been made for cubic and tetragonal lead titanate (PbTiO 3 ) doped with manganese ion. signals were observed in the ceramics fired nitrogen atmosphere, whereas both air single crystals any ESR signal due to substitutional Mn 2+ was not observed. PbTiO is considered be located at titanium site unit cell. Hamiltonian parameters obtained are as follows: phase g ⊥ =2.084±0.002, D =+(502±4)×10 -4 cm -1 , a =+(43±2)×10 A x (= y )=-(82±1.5)×10 =1.996±0.002, = z )=-(79.8±0.5)×10 . ratio between values of BaTiO rough agreement strengths their axial crystalline field.
