摘要: Spreading of aqueous surfactant solution droplets over hydrophobic substrates proceeds in one slow stage at concentration surfactants below some critical value and two stages if the is above value: fast relatively short first followed by a slower second stage. It shown that kinetics spreading concentrations are determined transfer molecules on bare substrate front moving three-phase contact line (autophilic phenomenon). The latter process results an increase solid-vapour interfacial tension solid surface as result. proven adsorption decrease total free energy droplet. Hence, spontaneous spite local tension. duration case correlates well with onto liquid-vapour interface. allows assuming interface driving mechanism during value. discussed why does not take place longer this case.
