摘要: The offshore extraction of oil and gas is an energy-intensive process leading to the production CO2 methane, discharged into atmosphere, chemicals, rejected sea. taxation these emissions, in Norway, has encouraged development more energy-efficient environmental-friendly solutions, which three are assessed this paper:. (i) implementation waste heat recovery, (ii) installation a CO2-capture unit (iii) platform electrification. A North Sea taken as case study, options modelled, analysed compared, using thermodynamic, economic environmental indicators. results indicate benefits all options, total CO2-emissions can be reduced by than 15% cases, while avoidance costs vary widely highly sensitive natural price CO2-tax.
