摘要: This research aims to evaluate the potential of satellite light detection and ranging (Lidar) for retrieval land surface biophysical parameters, in particular over forest biomes. The data source is Geoscience Laser Altimeter System (GLAS) aboard Ice Cloud Elevation Satellite (ICESat). new instrumentation has directly estimate key parameters such as canopy height, currently difficult obtain by other means. In addition, from airborne Lidar experiments have been shown offer information on vertical distribution leaf area index (LAI), and, correlation, biomass. combine field measurements a modelling approach explore which may be retrieved use support climate modelling.
