摘要: Toxoplasmosis is a worldwide infection caused by the obligate intracellular protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Some pyrimidine analogs were synthesized to be evaluated for their antitoxoplasma effects in animal experiments. Results assessed studying density, estimation of serum antigen, ultrastructural changes parasite, and histopathological affected organs inhibitory activity dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) isolated from Cryptosporidium parvum. The result showed that 4 out 12 compounds have promising potentials. animals received these four statistically significant decrease mean number count liver spleen when compared corresponding control group.
