摘要: Abstract In order to formulate more accurate simple models, the traditional kinematic models should be enriched. Retaining similarity of flow in far-wake region, enrichment can introduced through machine-dependent far-field profiles. present paper this is accomplished by coupling a linear vortex model with k-ϵ viscous one, for analysis near-wake region. The profiles are then obtained matching across inlet plane region selected at an axial distance approximately 3–4 diameters. use method evaluation velocity just downstream rotor gives account effect geometry. As result self-similar no longer depending on only one parameter, i.e. initial deficit. Instead they depend circulation distribution defined means model. Thus approach termed as multi-parametric wake modelling.
