摘要: The paper shows how Combinatory Categorial Grammar (CCG) can be adapted to take advantage of the extra resource-sensitivity provided by Type Logic framework. resulting reformulation, Multi-Modal CCG, supports lexically specified control over applicability combinatory rules, permitting a universal rule component and shedding need for language-specific restrictions on rules. We discuss some linguistic motivation these changes, define CCG system demonstrate it works basic examples. furthermore outline possible extensions address computational aspects CCG.
