摘要: Summary Plants have evolved numerous constitutive and inducible defence mechanisms to cope with biotic abiotic stresses. These stresses induce the expression of various genes activate defence-related pathways that result in release chemicals. One these is oxylipin pathway, which produces jasmonates, divinylethers green leaf volatiles (GLVs) through peroxidation polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). GLVs recently emerged as key players plant defence, plant–plant interactions plant–insect interactions. Some inhibit growth propagation pathogens, including bacteria, viruses fungi. In certain cases, released from plants under herbivore attack can serve aerial messengers neighbouring attract parasitic or parasitoid enemies herbivores. The perceive volatile signals are primed then adapt preparation for upcoming challenges. Due their ‘green note’ odour, impart aromas flavours many natural foods, such vegetables fruits, therefore, they be exploited industrial biotechnology. aim this study was review progress recent developments research on a specific focus biosynthesis biological functions applications
