摘要: Velocimetry measurements were obtained in three-stream jets at the NASA Glenn Research Center Nozzle Acoustics Test Rig using time-resolved Doppler global velocimetry technique. These afford exceptional frequency response, to 125 kHz bandwidth, order study detailed dynamics of turbulence developing shear flows. Mean stream-wise velocity is compared acquired particle image for validation. Detailed results convective distributions throughout an axisymmetric plume and thick side a with offset third-stream duct are provided. The exhibit that, as expected, eddy speeds reduced on case. indicate that method holds promise obtaining valuable implementation refinement jet noise prediction methods being developed jets.
