摘要: Summary The citrus rootstocks sour orange and Cleopatra mandarin display differential resistance against Tetranychus urticae. Sour plants support reduced oviposition, growth rates damage compared with plants. Jasmonic acid signalling flavonoid accumulation have been revealed as key mechanisms for the enhanced of plants. In this study, we observed that release T. urticae herbivore-induced plant volatiles (HIPVs) from has a marked repellent effect on conspecific mites associated production terpenes α-ocimene, α-farnesene, pinene d-limonene, green leaf volatile 4-hydroxy-4-methyl-2-pentanone. By contrast, HIPVs promote mite attraction an increase in (2-butoxyethoxy) ethanol, benzaldehyde methyl salicylate levels. HIPVs released following infestation induce plants, thereby reducing oviposition stimulating oxylipin biosynthetic gene lipoxygenase2 (LOX2). do not affect response to these rootstocks. We conclude and, despite weak basal rootstocks, herbivore can be induced through combination HIPVs, such α-ocimene d-limonene.
