Toxicity of nanoparticles against Drosophila melanogaster (Diptera: Drosophilidae)

摘要: In recent years, nanotechnology has become one of the most promising new approaches for pest control. our screening program, laboratory trials were conducted to determine effectiveness five sources silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) and sulfur (S on larval, pupal, adults fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. Nanoparticles synthesized through reducing, stabilizing, capping plant leaf extracts method different concentrations (10, 50, 100, 200 ppm) tested D. Results showed that highly effective larvae, pupae, adults' mortality egg deterrence. On contrary, none a significant effect pupae longevity. The results also can be used as valuable tool in management programs
