摘要: We examined the clinical and cellular effects of sarcoptic mange on southern hairy-nosed wombats (SHNW, Lasiorhinus latifrons) effectiveness a single dose ivermectin as treatment for captive wild animals. Wambats were caught at three sites in South Australia between April August 2005 blood skin samples collected. Hematology, biochemistry, protein electrophoresis reference intervals determined healthy diseased SHNW. Diseased SHNW had significantly higher white cell counts, neutrophils, lymphocytes, total but lower red hemoglobin, hematocrit, creatinine.
