摘要: Abstract In order to study the passivity breakdown of a type 316L stainless steel, electrochemical impedance and surface stresses were measured under straining conditions. The Mott–Schottky analysis, performed at high frequency, appears as very useful method study, below apparent yield strength, effects mechanical stress on capacitance values. results obtained in sodium chloride media indicate that semiconducting properties passive films formed tensile field reflect higher vacancies concentration than those stress-free state, suggesting film conductivity is increased. It was also shown plots drop presence stresses, indicating composition may be different from compressive stresses. A comparison between proposed.
