摘要: With the aging of population, cognitive impairment is increasingly common, and dementia, most common disorder that affects brain elderly adults, increasing worldwide. At present, no cure available against dementia prevention strategies to delay decline are sought. Epidemiological studies have reported several risk factors a consensus emerged low educational level, vascular dietary habits may be important factors. Among latter, intake antioxidants could contribute limit oxidative damage associated with neurodegenerative disease. The aim this chapter critically review evidence from observational intervention regarding link between function in older adults.
