摘要: ObjectiveDetermine the effect of glossectomy as part multilevel sleep surgery on sleep-related outcomes in patients with obstructive apnea.Data SourcesPubMED, Scopus.Review MethodsTwo independent researchers conducted review using PubMed-NCBI and Scopus literature databases. Studies for apnea that reported pre- postoperative apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) score 10 or more were included.ResultsA total 18 articles 522 treated 3 techniques (midline glossectomy, lingualplasty, submucosal minimally invasive lingual excision) met inclusion criteria.
