摘要: To enhance the efficiency of direct injection engines, understanding combustible mixture formation after a liquid fuel spray is injected crucial; hence, need readily apparent for experimental methods that allow determining characteristic parameters such as fuel/air ratio and gas temperature. The paper demonstrates potential laser-induced grating technique to determine simultaneously local vapor phase concentration temperature during temporal evolution direct-injected spray. precision accuracy approach applied data treatment procedure were evaluated by using calibration measurements in constant volume cell under known stationary conditions. test carried out an chamber high-pressure swirl injector. Liquid propane main component liquefied petroleum was directly into flash-boiling Injection ambient pressure varied, whereas remained constant. performed inside jet at different distances from injector outlet along axis injection. results are indicative small evaporative cooling jet.
