摘要: The collector-less flotation of pyrite has been studied by conventional techniques and is correlated to the electrochemical behaviour in alkaline solution (1m NaClO4, pH 11). It was concluded that initial oxidation produces a hydrophobic sulphur rich surface together with hydrophilic iron hydroxide species. Also upon grinding, covered species therefore no significant obtained absence collector. However, collectorless readily an complexing like EDTA. This indicates remaining sulphur-rich layer responsible for floatability under these conditions.
