摘要: Tissue culture infections of CD4-positive human T cells by immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) proceed in three stages: (i) a period following the initiation an infection during which no detectable is produced; (ii) phase sharp increase followed peak released progeny virions can be measured; and (iii) final when production declines. In this study, we have derived equations describing kinetics HIV-1 accumulation cell supernatants multiple rounds infection. Our analyses indicated that critical parameter affecting rate constant k = Inn/ti, where n number infectious produced one (about 10(2)) ti time required for complete cycle (typically 3 to 4 days). Of particular note was our finding infectivity cell-to-cell transmission 10(2) 10(3) times greater than cell-free stocks, inocula commonly used initiate tissue infections. We also demonstrated slow tat mutant not due longer replication but reflects small particles per cycle.
