摘要: We use accurate ab initio and quantum scattering calculations to demonstrate that the maximum ³He spin polarization can be achieved in spin-exchange collisions with potassium (³⁹K) silver (¹⁰⁷Ag) atoms is limited by anisotropic hyperfine interaction. find exchange Ag-He occurs much faster than K-He over a wide range of temperatures (10-600 K). Our analysis indicates measurements trap loss rates ²S presence cold gas may used probe spin-dependent interactions atom-He collisions.
